The Precious Pages Story
Eve Finger and Laurie Lichtenstein have shared their passion for literature since 1987, when they met as freshmen at Brandeis University. Laurie went on to pursue a teaching career and has been a middle school English and Social Studies teacher for more than ten years. Eve is an elementary school guidance counselor who uses literature with her students to help them identify and articulate their feelings. Laurie and Eve have five children between them, and are thoroughly enjoying watching their kids discover the joys of connecting to a character, giggling at a favorite line, gazing at a beautiful illustration, or begging for one more story at bedtime. It is out of this passion for children’s literature that Precious Pages was conceived. With their educational backgrounds and expertise, Laurie and Eve will design customized book baskets for children ages birth through teen. You may choose to purchase a basket that is already centered on a theme or Eve and Laurie will ask you questions and determine the best choices for your gift, based on the interests and ages of the child for whom you are purchasing a basket. All baskets come beautifully wrapped and decorated, with a personalized poem and gift for many of the younger children.
